New year is always a big event all over the world. In the Philippines, it’s always a feast.

Of course, there were fruits, wine, loaf of bread and other yummy food. My mom usually prepares the best buko salad but she did not make it this year, but it’s ok. The important this is that the family welcomed the New Year together!
